Why choose Quillers to restore or respray your Triumph?
On judging which bodyshop to use it is usually worth:
Paintshop All our paintwork is undertaken in our purpose-built hot bake oven using Two Pack Paints or the very latest Clear-Over-Base system. We can also spray in cellulose or pearlescents on request. Full resprays incorporate a complete vehicle body strip (the removal of all lights, bumpers, windscreen & glass, door handles etc). Although this is by no means the quickest (or the cheapest) approach to a respray, the only alternative is to mask up the components not to be painted with the resultant overspray marks on the windscreen rubber, door handle gaskets and every where else. We feel that for restoration and paintwork the old adage "if its worth doing, its worth doing properly" is certainly true. See here for photo histories of our recent projects As regards prices, we would need to see the vehicle and assess the condition of its panels when we could give a precise firm price, but generally a full respray on a Spitfire is about £1300 up to £2100 for a 2000 - however if new panels or corrosion repair work is required before paint can be applied this would be in addition to respray cost. F.A.Q: Ok, I appreciate your paintwork is high quality, but is there a possibility of doing something cheaper?
