Repairs to broken or corroded alloy castings can be very difficult to perform without TIG welding equipment, which most DIYers don't have access to. Even if the broken part is only regular steel, a MIG welded repair can often be awkward or impossible to repair in situ.

    We have found that Quicksteel, which is a steel-reinforced epoxy putty, can provide a repair in many instances.

Can be painted, milled, filled or sawed after 1 hour

Is resistant to heat & chemicals

Mixes like putty and is very easy to use - but hardens like steel

Stays malleable for up to 3 years after opening
